How do I call cider-clojuredocs-lookup from a non-Clojure buffer?

I want to create org-mode links that open the documentation of Clojure symbols.

[[elisp:(cider-clojuredocs-lookup "import")]]

But I get

sesman-ensure-session: No linked CIDER sessions

I like to run these with whatever CIDER session is available, preferably the most recently used one.

PS: I also need this to add ivy-rich annotations to the completion candidates.
