i'd like to go ahead and confirm Fusaka mainnet (again, assuming the rest of our testnets go well) following the mainnet dates here from @barnabasbusa https://notes.ethereum.org/@bbusa/fusaka-bpo-timeline

we covered the topic on ACDC#167 and there was no issue with 3 Nov mainnet releases for a 3 Dec mainnet date

note: BPO1 and BPO2 are also scheduled in the doc

@ralexstokes assume we shouldn't confirm (set) the proposed date until after Hoodi testnet upgrades

Mainnet should not have an upgrade date set until all testnets have been upgraded.

this is so core devs have a 3 Nov date on their schedule for mainnet releases

we can wait until ACDC on 30 Oct to make the dates official

in either world, we would obviously hold off if the hoodi fork doesn't go well

EIP7667:

• It was added to Glamsterdam's PFIs when the meta EIP was created as a hold over from "the verkle fork"
• It was originally proposed by Vitalik in an April 2024 ACDE call
• It doesn't currently have a "champion"
• Its sole author is Vitalik, who can't be added as a reasonable default "point of contact" for obvious reasons
• If no one is willing to champion it, I think it should be removed from PFI

was discussing with ansgar and we'd like to make the process suggested around handling Glamsterdam non-headliners a bit more concrete as we move from Fusaka into Glamsterdam scoping

1. seems like we can start as of this call with thinking about glamsterdam non-headliner selection
2. i'd propose we use this call as the time to flag that there is 1 more week to propose EIPs as non-headliners with deadline 30 Oct (next ACDC)
3. given the large number of EL EIPs to scope, i think getting written client opinions would be useful -- this can be as high-level (general themes) or as fine-grained (concrete list of EIPs) as a client team would like to chime in on, but having these opinions before 6 Nov would set ACDE up to finish Glamsterdam scoping by end of November (assuming it takes a few calls from there to get to rough consensus on the final set)

there's a smaller scoping task on the CL side and expect no issues there getting to a final Glam scope by end of november

let's use this as a starting point and can discuss on this call if we need to adjust anything

EIP7667:

• If no one is willing to champion it, I think it should be removed from PFI

@nixorokish I think in principle there are still people that think pricing precompiles for zk cost would be preferable. I agree that the lack of champion is not ideal though. I remember @Sophia-Gold arguing for similar changes in the past, maybe she would be a candidate for EIP champion?

Separately, I saw that with EIP-6873 we have another Verkle related EIP still in the list. That one looks to me like there would be no reason for inclusion without Verkle, so this could be another candidate for removal.

There was a bit of pushback on the BPO1 schedule from some teams, saying that if something goes wrong we gonna have a lot of people off on holidays already so late in december. Therefore an alternative BPO schedule is going to be proposed below:

For more context on the the breakout call, the proposal is to have two breakout calls to discuss the repricing EIPs that are PFI in Glamsterdam. The proposed times are:

• Call 1: Wednesday, Oct 29th, 15:00 UTC
• Call 2: Wednesday, Nov 5th, 15:00 UTC
  The goal is to do a deep dive on each repricing EIP, discuss potential issues and gather some consensus on prioritization. At the end, we wil report back on the key takeaways in the following ACDE.
