What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

It would be great if the "Extract files" dialog (Ctrl+E or Extract > Extract files) could include a dropdown in the path bar showing previous unzip destinations. I'm frequently needing to extract multiple zip files to the same location over multiple sessions, like putting SQL dumps into the same directory or extracting new zips of client files to a project working folder, and being able to quickly arrow-key down to the last extract location is a big time saver over re-browsing to it every time. I still have NanaZip installed because it offers this, but if I can get away with having one fewer shell extension when Files has the functionality built-in, I'd rather go that route. This is the dialog from NanaZip with the path history expanded:

Requirements

  • Display a history of paths that have been used when extracting files using the "Extract > Extract Files" context menu's dialog.
  • Auto-focus the path field when the dialog opens.
  • Allow arrow key navigation through history entries.
