Provide a way to dismiss GitHub Copilot in-edit plugin recommendation nags. #272470

Description

@garretwilson

In GitHub Copilot I'm using a repository that doesn't have any Java test-running extension installed. (Why I don't is irrelevant; for now I have several other ways I want to run the tests.)

If I type /tests to generate tests, GitHub Copilot generates tests, but places this glaring, disrupting nag in the middle of the code encouraging me to install an extension. It doesn't even fit within the chat, but extends past the sides of the chat. It's just in the way.

Maybe this would be useful the first time. But it keeps coming back. I can't even figure out how to dismiss it.

I tried hitting <Esc>. That removed all the generated tests. 🤦

It seems I have to accept the edits before I can get rid of this extension nag? How do I keep it from coming back?

Please add 1) a way to easily dismiss the extension nag in the middle of chats (especially in the middle of edits!), and 2) provide a setting to disable it altogether.
