Have the form-select caret as a separate class

Proposal

Is it possible to have the caret from the form-select as a separate class, something like form-caret?

Motivation and context

I would be helpfull to use in normal inputs for typeahead, datalists that already use form-control

This sounds like a useful idea — having the caret as a separate class could make it easier to reuse in other inputs.
