Complete Rewrite of the zoning guide

  • Added images/videos + explanations for everything ( I hope )
  • Didn't touch the hammer section at all. I can't use hammer on linux so I can't even easily verify if all that info is up-to-date

I tried to structure the guide in a way that can be gradually followed by a person new to zoning, however due to a huge amount of information that needs to be kept in mind it's difficult to avoid some infodumping.
I'm sure certain things can be rewritten/restructured to make them easy to follow, currently it's a lot of jumping through linked sections. Any ideas are welcome

- Added global regions to basic information section

I will need to expand the zone editing section quite a bit.
I thought that it was easy to understand but after seeing others attempt to zone stuff it's obvious that it needs a more thorough explanation

I would also mention in the checkpoints section about the 10 sec minimum interval rule-of-thumb. As many ports I've reviewed have had a bunch of CPs like 3 seconds between each other.

Good to add another clarification for zoning for bhop:
generally, bhop maps shouldn't use stages, but rather only checkpoints.
Though there are exceptions to this if the community really wants stages for a specific map

I oh just saw you had essentially added something like this, disregard my comment then
