Hello @sawyer523, this issue is fixed already, the err is defined in

go-redis/internal/pool/conn_check_dummy.go

var errUnexpectedRead = errors.New("unexpected read from socket")

as well. If you would like to move it to a single place, please remove it from the conn_check_dummy.go
